Exclusive: InvaderCON Photos

We have been plugging InvaderCON through our blog’s Facebook page ever since InvaderCON was first announced, and Voice Actors in the News publisher Craig Crumpton has been in attendance at this first (and only!) convention devoted to fans of Nickelodeon’s cult classic animated series Invader ZIM.

Full coverage of the event will be provided via toonzone.net following the convention.

In the meantime, please enjoy some photos from Saturday’s events:

Video has already surfaced on YouTube from Saturday’s live performance of unpublished Invader ZIM scripts:

Many thanks to YouTube user NeoCloud9 for sharing these videos with the fans.

And a special thanks to Green Mustard Entertaiment for providing a media pass for this event.

VAs on DVD: VOICE 2008 on DVD-Rom

Voice acting coaches James Alburger and Penny Abshire recently announced VOICE 2010, also known as The VoiceOver International Creative Experience — the world’s largest event for voice-over professionals worldwide. And on the heels of that announcement, I thought I’d take the liberty of mentioning that both the 2008 and 2007 conferences are available on DVD-Rom at VoiceActing.com.

The VOICE 2008 DVD-Rom and the 2007/2008 combo deal are packed with over 24 hours of great content not only to help voice-over talents improve their craft, but has entertainment value too as it includes audio of the complete panel presentations from VOICE 2007 and 2008 and the San Diego Comic-Con, featuring some of the top voice-over artists, voice coaches, and cartoon voice actors in the field, including appearances by Pat Fraley, Bob Bergen, Wally Wingert, Richard Horvitz, MJ Lallo, cast members of “The Land Before Time” animated film series, and the late-great Don LaFontaine.

Granted, the $500 and combo $600 deals are very pricey; however, considering the massive content offered, the benefit of the information provided to professionals, and the entertainment value it offers for voice actor enthusiasts, it might just be something you want to add to your collection.

You can view a complete breakdown of the product’s content at VoiceActing.com.
