Tara Strong on ‘Batman,’ ‘Chowder,’ ‘Drawn Together’ Movie

Got to chat briefly with Tara Strong Monday night, who offered to let me “snag” this photo from a Batman: The Brave and The Bold voice recording session, during which she provided the voice of Billy Batson:

Update: 7.23.2009 — Since so many fans keep wanting to know, Jeff Bennett will be providing the voice of Captain Marvel. And the previously “unknown actor” has been identified as Tyler James Williams, known for his portrayal of Chris Rock on Everybody Hates Chris. (Thanks to John D. for the updates!)

Tara also confirmed an earlier news item I posted that there will be both a panel discussion and an autograph session for Chowder and The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 23rd. If ever there were an opportune time and place for fans to rally in support of the series and show Cartoon Network that you want to see it continue, this is it.

Tara also stated that the Drawn Together movie is “coming out soon.”

[Update: 7.22.2009 -- Drawn Together Movie Officially Announced]

And as I reported earlier this month, Tara is voicing a character on the Friday, July 17th episode of ABC’s The Goode Family (along with Diedrich Bader and Phil LaMarr).

Thanks again to Tara for sharing the pic and the news.
